Who’s doing all that talking?!
My name is Meghan Hock and I'm a freelance paranormal investigator from NE Wisconsin and your host with the most ghost…experience!
I've been researching the paranormal for over 25 years and have been actively investigating for the last 7-8 years. I was with two paranormal teams before I decided to branch off and be a "solo" investigator. The podcast launched earlier this year and it's been the perfect blend of paranormal and historical (my history degree was gathering dust...) research, with a smattering of sarcasm and comedy.
My real interest in the Other Side started when I was young and watching Ghost Hunters with my mom on SyFy Channel. It morphed into her telling me stories of her childhood, growing up in a house haunted by her great-grandpa and then having the opportunity to spend nights upon nights in that same house, experiencing the same (and new) activity that my mom and her sisters reported. I've been able to investigate and make contact with several spirits that roam the house and they continue to interact with my grandparents on a daily basis.
I always tell people that this is a strange field for me to be in because it wasn't until I went through a deep spiritual journey around 6 years ago that I realized that I had been experiencing phenomena my whole life and never saw it as unusual or strange...until someone who never experienced it would point it out. I have developed my psychic skills over the past few years, honing in on something I've had my entire life. When I investigate, I bring in a holistic approach: working with the energy of the space and offering healing through time. I am a practicing shaman, trained in the Four Winds tradition along with Celtic and Nordic paths, and have gone through Reiki Master training and certification. I offer cleansings for homes, clients, and spirits alongside my scientific approach of bringing in equipment to validate any phenomena or experiences.
I have been able to investigate a few locations that have made names for themselves in the paranormal world: Bobby Mackey's, Waverly Hills Sanitorium, Farrar School, and Edinburgh Manor. I've done private home investigations and several in locations around my hometown, one in particular being a historic "village" with over 15 original buildings that all have some sort of activity within them. I worked at a historic house downtown and became "attached" to the home and its former occupants as well.
How many people can say they chased a President down a pathway, yelling “I NEED A SELIFE WITH YOU!” and not get tackled by the Secret Service?!

So what’s this all about?
That’s…an excellent question, actually
I find topics that interest me or are submitted by listeners and do a massive deep-dive on it, checking out every nook and cranny possible to present a mildly rounded out but with some lumps episode
I love the paranormal - hauntings, cryptids, conspiracy theories, UFOs, spiritual events - if it’s weird, I enjoy it
Podcasts and YouTubers I’ve been a fan of for years heavily influence my style for the show:
The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds
My Brother, My Brother, and Me with the McElroy boys
The Adventure Zone by the McElroys
Game Grumps (Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan)
Unus Annus (Markiplier and Ethan Nestor)
I spent a majority of my young adult life giving tours of historical buildings to the general public and I honed my public speaking skills to a fine point
I loved doing research on the locations I gave tours at because I was able to piece together pieces of random bits of information and transform it into a fun and intriguing narrative that “makes history fun, not boring”
Why should I listen?
Yet another amazing question, you’re truly hitting it out of the park
If you have an interest in the background of paranormal occurrences, the people who changed the landscape of metaphysics, and also enjoy hearing someone go on rants about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, then this show is for you!
I draw from a lot of my own experiences to tie in with the topic of each episode, so you get to know me piece by piece and I think that’s a really unique trait you don’t get in a lot of shows that cover these types of topics and segments
I’m one of those avocado-toast munchin’, living through a new End of Days every 2 years, “vibing it and keeping it tight call me on my mobile” Millennial that expresses her deepest emotions through memes, so if that’s something that floats your goat, I’m your gal
You’re 100% sure you want to disappoint this little witch?!
She knows so many dark curses, you better watch out
