Who’s doing all that talking?!

Hi, that’d be me - Meghan!

I’m a freelance paranormal researcher and investigator of over 20 years and I’ve turned my hobby into this here little ol’ podcast

Growing up, I had an eclectic brand of interests: history, horror, and never leaving the house with at least 3 books stashed in the car and/or on my person. It makes some sense that I graduated college with a history degree and absolutely no idea how I was going to use it

It only took rOuGhLy a decade for me to realize that the easiest way to prove that 4 and 1/2 years of higher education and a literal butt ton of student loans was worth the time was to put my thoughts and opinions out into the world via my favorite format - podcasting

I love to research, to dig to the very bottom of a topic and then scrape a little bit more off of it to make sure I have the complete picture

Over the course of 5 years, I went through a deep and incredibly strange spiritual journey and came out the other side with a newfound respect of the metaphysical aspects of the world

Being a freelance paranormal investigator means I can branch out a bit on my own and try things that work best for me - and also experiment with different techniques

How many people can say they chased a President down a pathway, yelling “I NEED A SELIFE WITH YOU!” and not get tackled by the Secret Service?!

Me and my silent but deadly co-host, Eleanor

So what’s this all about?

That’s…an excellent question, actually

I find topics that interest me or are submitted by listeners and do a massive deep-dive on it, checking out every nook and cranny possible to present a mildly rounded out but with some lumps episode

I love the paranormal - hauntings, cryptids, conspiracy theories, UFOs, spiritual events - if it’s weird, I enjoy it

Podcasts and YouTubers I’ve been a fan of for years heavily influence my style for the show:

  • The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds

  • My Brother, My Brother, and Me with the McElroy boys

  • The Adventure Zone by the McElroys

  • Game Grumps (Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan)

  • Unus Annus (Markiplier and Ethan Nestor)

I spent a majority of my young adult life giving tours of historical buildings to the general public and I honed my public speaking skills to a fine point

I loved doing research on the locations I gave tours at because I was able to piece together pieces of random bits of information and transform it into a fun and intriguing narrative that “makes history fun, not boring”

Why should I listen?

Yet another amazing question, you’re truly hitting it out of the park

If you have an interest in the background of paranormal occurrences, the people who changed the landscape of metaphysics, and also enjoy hearing someone go on rants about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, then this show is for you!

I draw from a lot of my own experiences to tie in with the topic of each episode, so you get to know me piece by piece and I think that’s a really unique trait you don’t get in a lot of shows that cover these types of topics and segments

I’m one of those avocado-toast munchin’, living through a new End of Days every 2 years, “vibing it and keeping it tight call me on my mobile” Millennial that expresses her deepest emotions through memes, so if that’s something that floats your goat, I’m your gal

You’re 100% sure you want to disappoint this little witch?!

She knows so many dark curses, you better watch out
